What Are Neuromodulators?

What to Expect During Your Neuromodulator Procedure

Preparation: Your skin will be cleansed, and any makeup removed.

Injection: Using a fine needle, small amounts of neuromodulator are precisely injected into targeted muscles.

Duration: The procedure typically takes 15–30 minutes. Most patients describe the injections as a mild pinprick and experience minimal discomfort.

How to Prepare for Your Procedure

Avoid blood-thinning medications and supplements (e.g., aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil) for 5–7 days.
Refrain from alcohol 24 hours before your treatment.
Arrive with clean skin, free of makeup.
Plan treatments at least two weeks before major events.

Post-Care Instructions

Avoid lying down or bending over for 4–6 hours after your treatment.
Avoid touching or massaging the treated area for 24 hours.
Refrain from strenuous exercise, alcohol, and heat exposure (e.g., saunas, hot tubs) for 24–48 hours.
Use gentle skincare products for 24–48 hours.
